Regina Pisa
First woman to head up a top US law firm
In 1998, when Regina Pisa was named managing parter of Goodwin Procter & Hoar, she became the first woman to head up an elite US law firm. Pisa, then 42, had been a specialist in financial services law. Today Pisa remains managing partner and is chairwoman of the firm, which is now known as Goodwin Procter.
