New ways to play
At Harmonix, Greg would work as project leader on Frequency and Amplitude, two revolutionary music games where players would use a Playstation 2 controller to "play" individual music tracks in a variety of songs.
"We were dead convinced Amplitude and Frequency were going to be huge hits," says LoPiccolo. And although the games were reviewed positively and they became cult hits, they never broke into mainstream video game culture.
