A new band is born


Riding the success of Guitar Hero and the demand for music-based games he helped to create, LoPiccolo's next project with Harmonix took the Guitar Hero concept to the level of a whole band, with individual players controlling the guitar, bass, vocal, and drum tracks. "Rock Band" debuted last year and has further entrenched Harmonix as industry leaders in the music game genre. And while LoPiccolo is proud of the result, he says his team is excited to further refine the "Rock Band" game experience to better "realize the potential of what it can be."
