Radiologic technologists and technicians
Average salary: $66,970
Demand: Excellent. A growing, aging population, rapidly advancing technologies, and increasing calls for more diagnostic testing combine to ramp up demand for these specialists to operate imaging equipment.
Qualifications: Degrees from two-to-four year programs with radiography and ultrasound training. Those with expertise in more than one imaging procedure, including CT, MRI, and mammography, have the best job prospects. Most states require licensure.
