Truth:
Younger workers have a different perception of how to climb the career ladder. They don't see the value in working extremely long hours at the expense of family, personal relationships, and interesting hobbies. That's not to say that all younger workers think they don't need to spend a few years learning the ropes and doing "grunt work." As a manager, it's more effective to position these jobs as "opportunities to develop skill sets" or to "build your brand."
