Christopher O'Brien, 33

Director of training and development, Consigli

"At Consigli Construction University, I get the field staff involved with training, helping them earn important licenses and certifications. In this company, everyone – from marketing down to the trade – is required to improve themselves in some way, shape, or form. For some people, that means getting better with tools; for others, it's sharpening their business skills. It's a total commitment to training and development during a ferocious time in the industry.

"In this company, there is a sense of equality. It's hard to tell the difference between a carpenter and a vice president."
