Girish Dang, 53

Registered nurse, Hallmark Health

"I work on the psychiatric unit at Melrose Wakefield Hospital, and also serve on the Cultural Diversity Committee.

"I love my profession, which allows me to help patients and humanity. I also like the whole culture of the hospital, which promotes nursing in a big way, and makes you feel like what you are doing is worthwhile.

"Everyone, from the chief nursing officer to my immediate supervisor, is always available, and there is an easy flow of communication. We have open forums of talking together and solving problems.

"There are so many rewards here, in the context of building self-esteem and making you feel proud of your work."
