"I grew up in the generation of Lincoln Logs, rather than computers and Sim City, so I was always interested in how things went together. I gravitated toward construction and dreamed to build projects that would change the skyline.

"Through Skanska, I have had an opportunity to take part in Rowes Wharf, Gillette Stadium, the State Street Financial Building, and other buildings. It's so enjoyable to help write the renaissance of the city, and I love it when my kids point out the buildings that their dad has worked on.

"I have had the good fortune to work with talented people who have guided my career, and in turn, I mentor young engineers and construction people."
