While Apple’s iPad and Amazon’s Kindle Fire are being discussed the most these days, there are other tablets worth checking out—and for a discount.

Sears is offering the NOOK Simple Touch for $39.99 and Samsung’s 16GB Galaxy Tab 2 for $297.99.

Best Buy has a Nabi2 tablet for $169.99.

OfficeMax is selling a 16GB NOOK tablet for $179, and OfficeDepot is offering a Samsung bundle with a Series 3 laptop and Galaxy Tab 2 for $469.98.

If you want to stick to Apple, Walmart is selling the iPad 2 for $399 with a $75 Walmart gift card.

Apple had not announced any deals as of Wednesday. The company’s website foretold a “one-day Apple shopping event” on Friday, Nov.23.
