Zipcar has landed at Logan International Airport.

The Boston-based company, which rents cars by the hour, has five vehicles at Logan’s new rental car center, which opened last week.

Zipcar is the third so-called car-sharing company to start operating at Logan this year. A Zipcar member can reserve a vehicle online and go straight from the plane to the car without stopping at a check-in counter. Rates start at $10 per hour or $75 per day. The cars are next to Avis; Zipcar Inc. was acquired by Avis Budget Group in January.

Thirteen-year-old Zipcar started expanding into airports earlier this year. It is now at 21 airports nationwide as well as at the airports in London and Toronto.

Logan has become a magnet for car-sharing companies.

FlightCar, a California company that allows departing travelers to rent their personal vehicles to arriving passengers, started its service there in May. RelayRides, another peer-to-peer car-rental company, founded in Cambridge and now based in San Francisco, was launched at Logan in July.

But unlike Zipcar, those services are not housed on airport property and are not sanctioned by the Massachusetts Port Authority, which runs Logan.
