When bright young minds at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology want to build a business around their new gadget, they can turn to the MIT Media Lab.
Now, the artists at Berklee College of Music have a similar resource in the Berklee Institute for Creative Entrepreneurship, opening Wednesday.
Berklee ICE, as the center will be called, aims to become a launching pad for new companies that fuse music and technology, much like the i-lab and Media Lab churn out inventive tech businesses.
