Steiner Leisure amends Windstar deal

NEW YORK --Steiner Leisure Ltd., a spa services provider, said Thursday that it amended an agreement with Windstar Cruises to serve two additional ships.

Steiner will continue to be the exclusive provider of spa and beauty treatments and hairdressing services for the Wind Surf and will now take on the Wind Star and Wind Spirit.

The term for the three vessels extends through April 30, 2009.

Shares of Steiner added $1.12, or 2.6 percent, to $43.77 in afternoon trading on the Nasdaq Stock Market. The stock has been trading in a 52-week range of $36.18 to $49.14.
