Home Solutions gets $10M contract

DALLAS --A subsidiary of home remodeler Home Solutions of America Inc. said Wednesday it received a $10 million contract to perform restoration work for a demolition company.

Under the arrangement, Fireline Restoration will provide environmental services for three projects in Kansas and Louisiana headed by DEMCO Inc.

Work is scheduled to begin in the second quarter of 2007 and is expected to finish by the end of the third quarter.

Shares of Home Solutions of America Inc. rose 11 cents, or 2.5 percent, to $4.51 in afternoon trading on the Nasdaq Stock Market.
