Sector Glance: Auto Suppliers

NEW YORK --Most of the auto suppliers closed down Thursday, as the overall market fell sharply for a third straight day after higher bond yields deflated hopes of an interest rate cut later in the year.

The Dow Jones industrials dropped nearly 200 points while the S&P 500 index fell below the 1,500 mark.

Here's how the auto suppliers finished Thursday:

ArvinMeritor Inc. fell 51 cents to $20.47.

American Axle & Manufacturing Holdings Inc. fell 55 cents to $28.35.

BorgWarner Inc. fell $1.03 to $82.

Johnson Controls fell $2.67 to $110.09.

Lear Corp. shares fell 9 cents to $35.62.

Magna International Inc. fell 88 cents to $88.88.

Tenneco Inc. fell 80 cents to $31.55.

TRW Automotive Holdings Corp. fell 62 cents to $38.66.

Visteon Corp. fell 12 cents to $7.89.
