Procter & Gamble appoints director
CINCINNATI --Consumer products maker Procter & Gamble Co. said Tuesday it appointed Patricia A. Woertz to its board of directors, effective immediately.
Woertz, 54, is the chairman and chief executive of ethanol and food producer Archer Daniels Midland Corp.
Procter & Gamble shares rose 19 cents to close at $72.68.
