MELROSE PARK, Ill.—Chicago area bank Midwest Banc Holdings Inc. on Friday named JoAnn S. Lilek as executive vice president and chief financial officer, effective March 17.
Lilek, 51, succeeds Daniel R. Kadolph, who will take on the new role of executive vice president and chief administrative officer.
In her new role, Lilek will handle Midwest's internal and external reporting, capital planning, profitability and budgeting, investor relations and merger and acquisition analysis. She currently serves as CFO of national supply-chain-management company DSC Logistics.
The company also put John B. Pelling III in charge of its investor-relations program. Pelling, who serves as vice president of special projects, will continue to help out on special credit administration assignments and be involved with investor presentations, acquisition analysis, transaction structuring and due diligence. He will report to Lilek.
Shares of Midwest Banc Holdings fell 11 cents to $11.08 on Friday.![]()
