Regency Energy Partners to distribute 42 cents per unit

DALLAS—Natural gas transporter Regency Energy Partners LP announced Friday a cash distribution of 42 cents per outstanding common and subordinated unit for the first quarter.

The figure for the quarter ended March 31 is a 5 percent increase in the distribution paid for the previous quarter and an 11 percent increase over the first quarter 2007 distribution.

The distribution is equivalent to $1.68 on an annual basis and will be paid on May 14 to unitholders of record on May 7.
