Sturm, Ruger & Co. president and general counsel resigns

SOUTHPORT, Conn.—Gun maker Sturm, Ruger & Co. said Friday Stephen L. Sanetti resigned as president, director and general counsel.

He is leaving the company to become president and chief executive of the National Shooting Sports Foundation, effective May 1.

Kevin B. Reid Sr. was promoted to vice president and general counsel. He was director of marketing, and served as assistant general counsel between 2001 and 2007.
