DALLAS—Affiliated Computer Services Inc., a business processing outsourcer, said Monday it will acquire CompIQ Corp., a provider of workers compensation services.
Affiliated Computer Services will pay $22 million plus potential unspecified payments based on future performance. The deal will be paid for with cash on hand and use of Affiliated Computer Services' existing credit line.
The new entity will be known as ACS CompIQ and current CompIQ employees will remain with the company. CompIQ generated about $17 million in revenue during the 12-month period ending March 31.
The deal is expected to close in May.
