Carlisle Cos. completes $200M acquisition of Carlyle

CHARLOTTE, N.C.—Manufacturing company Carlisle Cos. said Monday it has completed the $200 million acquisition of privately held Carlyle Inc., which makes equipment used in airplane entertainment systems.

The deal was announced earlier this month. The business will be integrated within Carlisle's Tensolite Co. division.

Carlyle Inc. is based in Tukwila, Wash., and has annual sales of about $125 million. Carlisle has annual sales of $2.88 billion.

Shares of Carlisle Cos. rose 10 cents to $29.09 in afternoon trading.
