Masco sells heating group for $155 million to Vaessen

TAYLOR, Mich.—Masco Corp. said Wednesday it sold its European-based Heating Group for $155 million to an affiliate of Vaessen Industries in order to focus on core operations.

The Heating Group consists of Vasco, a maker of designer radiators, and Brugman International and Superia Radiatoren, manufacturers of steel panel radiators. Combined 2007 sales of the group were about $177 million.

Masco makes home improvement and building products, and provides insulation installation among other services.
