Strayer Ed. expects 2Q profit to top Wall St. expectations
ARLINGTON, Va.—Strayer Education Inc. said Wednesday it expects second-quarter earnings to beat current analysts' estimates due to strong spring term enrollment growth.
The for-profit education provider expects net income between $1.45 and $1.47 per share.
Analysts predict second-quarter profit of $1.42 per share, according to a Thomson Financial poll.
The company said enrollment climbed 19 percent for the Strayer University spring term.![]()
