TORRANCE, Calif.—American Honda Motor Co. said Thursday it expects to post an increase in April U.S. sales but was unable to provide specific figures for the month because of technical difficulties.
Honda said it expects its sales to total more than 134,000 vehicles, up from 126,419 in April 2007.
Honda division sales are expected to total more than 121,500 units, up from 111,226 a year ago.
The automaker's Acura division is expected to post April sales of at least 12,900 vehicles, down from 15,193 units in the 2007 period.
Honda's U.S. shares rose 55 cents to $32.30 in afternoon trading.![]()
