Harvest Natural Resources names financial chief, controller

HOUSTON—Harvest Natural Resources Inc. said Thursday it named Stephen C. Haynes as chief financial officer, effective May 19, to replace Steven W. Tholen, who is retiring at the end of the month.

Haynes served as CFO of Cygnus Oil and Gas Corp., and previously was corporate controller for Carrizo Oil and Gas.

Harvest also appointed Johnnye S. Yearwood as controller. Since 1993, Yearwood has served in several capacities at Harvest, most recently as assistant controller.

She replaces Kurt A. Nelson, who also is retiring May 31.
