Ryder System executive vice president exercises options

NEW YORK—An executive vice president of trucking and supply-chain-management company Ryder System Inc. exercised options for 6,322 shares of common stock, according to a Securities and Exchange Commission filing Wednesday.

In a Form 4 filed with the SEC, Gregory F. Greene reported exercising the options on Tuesday for $52.48 apiece and then selling 6,547 shares on the same day for $68.33 to $68.65 apiece.

Insiders file Form 4s with the SEC to report transactions in their companies' shares. Open market purchases and sales must be reported within two business days of the transaction.

Ryder System is based in Miami.
