Elbit Systems unit receives $127 million contract

NEW YORK—Elbit Systems Ltd., an Israeli defense electronics company, said Monday its Tadiran Communications Ltd. unit received a $127 million contract from an unnamed European customer for tactical communications radio equipment and systems.

The 17-month long project includes high frequency and very high frequency equipment used by ground forces for data transfer and voice communications.
