Hain Celestial appoints head of US operations

MELVILLE, N.Y.—Hain Celestial Group Inc., which makes natural and organic food and personal care products, on Monday said it appointed John Carroll to the new position of chief executive of Hain Celestial United States.

The appointment is effective immediately, the company said.

Carroll most recently served as president of grocery and snacks and personal care.

In his new position, the company said Carroll will be responsible for all of Hain's U.S. operations, which include its Celestial Seasonings tea line, the grocery and snacks business and the company's personal care division.
