ITT to produce protection systems for Army helicopters
WHITE PLAINS, N.Y.—Defense contractor ITT Corp. said Monday it has been awarded a $57 million contract to produce protection systems to be installed on Special Operations Army helicopters.
The contract is the first part of a larger $312 million contract awarded to ITT by the U.S. Special Operations Technology Applications Program Office.
Under this contract, ITT will deliver 25 integrated situational awareness and self-protection systems, along with spares and related parts.
ITT shares rose 8 cents to $64.35.![]()
