Aqua America declares 12.5 cent per share dividend

BRYN MAWR, Pa.—Water and sewage utility Aqua America Inc. said Tuesday it declared a regular quarterly dividend of 12.5 cents per share.

The dividend, which the board declared May 1, is payable June 1 to shareholders of record on May 16.

The company said the dividend is 9 percent higher than its June 2007 payment.
