NEW YORK—Shares of real estate investment trusts edged higher Tuesday even as investors absorbed wider-than-expected losses from companies including government-sponsored mortgage company Fannie Mae and homebuilder DR Horton Inc.
Meanwhile, oil prices climbed to new record highs.
Here's how some REITs performed:
SL Green Realty Corp. rose 21 cents to $99.65.
Brookfield Properties Corp. rose 29 cents to $21.30.
Boston Properties Inc. rose $1.47 to $$103.84.
Kimco Realty Corp. rose 21 cents to $41.60.![]()
