NASHVILLE, Tenn.—Corrections Corp. of America reiterated its full-year earnings target after delivering first-quarter results slightly above expectations.
The prison operator said it still expects earnings between $1.21 and $1.28 per share, backing a prior forecast issued in February.
Analysts expect earnings of $1.25 per share, according to Thomson Financial.
The company pegged second-quarter earnings at 28 cents to 30 cents per share. Wall Street expects 29 cents per share.![]()
