IRVING, Texas—TV station owner Nexstar Broadcasting Group Inc. on Tuesday named Timothy Busch and Brian Jones to the additional positions of co-chief operating officers.
Busch, 45, and Jones, 48, will replace Duane Lammers, who is leaving the company to pursue other interests. The changes are effective June 1.
The pair will retain regional operating responsibilities while overseeing Nexstar's TV station and online operations and developing new revenue opportunities for the company.
Busch will focus on traditional advertising revenue opportunities, while Jones will focus on the company's digital media platforms and sales, the company said.
Busch has served as senior vice president and regional manager of Nexstar's eastern region since 2002, while Jones has served as senior vice president and regional manager of its southwest region since 2003.
Nexstar shares rose 31 cents, or 5.7 percent, to close at $5.79.![]()
