NEW YORK—Shares of insurers fell Tuesday as broader markets declined because of worries about oil supplies and losses posted by financial titans Fannie Mae and UBS.
How shares of some major insurers performed:
Bond insurer Ambac Financial Group Inc. fell 23 cents to $4.67.
Mortgage insurer MGIC Investment Corp. fell 41 cents to $12.76.
American International Group Inc. fell 87 cents to $46.52.
Cincinnati Financial Corp. fell 38 cents to $35.98.![]()
