Rohm and Haas elects Richard R. Lovely as E. vice president

PHILADELPHIA—Rohm and Haas Co., which makes paint, coatings and salt, said Monday elected Richard R. Lovely as executive vice president.

Lovely joined the company in December 2007 as vice president and corporate director of human resources.

Also on Monday, Rohm and Haas said its shareholders approved the re-election of twelve directors, and ratified PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP as the company's independent registered public accounting firm.

Rohm and Haas shares rose 5 cents to $54.59 in afternoon trading.
