El Paso Electric names Kenneth R. Heitz as chairman
EL PASO, Texas—Utility company El Paso Electric on Wednesday said it elected Kenneth R. Heitz as its new chairman.
Heitz, an El Paso board member since 1996, replaces the retiring George W. Edwards Jr., the company said.
Edwards has served as a board member since 1992 and chairman since 1996. He will remain on the board, El Paso said.
El Paso shares fell 67 cents, or 3 percent, to close at $21.95.![]()
