Protective Life raises quarterly dividend to 23.5 cents

BIRMINGHAM, Ala.—Protective Life Corp. said its board raised its quarterly dividend by a penny to 23.5 cents.

The insurer said the dividend is payable June 2 to shareholders of record May 16.
