Closing Glance: Major beverage stocks end trading mixed
NEW YORK—Beverage stocks finished Thursday's session mixed, while the broader market regained some traction as oil prices retreated below the previous day's record high of nearly $124 a barrel and retail sales reports weren't as gloomy as Wall Street expected.
How shares of some major beverage makers performed:
Brewers Molson Coors Brewing Co. jumped $1.51, or 2.8 percent, to close at $56.10, and Anheuser-Busch Cos. gained 41 cents to $51.12.
Meanwhile, soft drink makers Coca-Cola Co. fell 74 cents to $56.29, and PepsiCo Inc. lost 47 cents to $67.54.![]()
