TOMORROW

Treasury bill auction. Last week, the Treasury Department auctioned $23 billion in three-month bills at a discount rate of 1.900 percent. Another $22 billion in six-month bills was auctioned at a discount rate of 2.135 percent

TUESDAY

The Federal Reserve reports on consumer credit for May.

Wall Street expects Alcoa Inc. will release second-quarter earnings of 68 cents a share, down from 81 cents in the year-ago period.

THURSDAY

The Labor Department reports on weekly jobless claims.

Freddie Mac, the mortgage company, reports on mortgage rates.

Marriott International Inc. releases second-quarter financial results. Analysts predict lower net income of 49 cents a share, down from 57 cents a year ago.

FRIDAY

Analysts predict General Electric Co. will report second-quarter net of 54 cents a share, up a penny from last year.
