NEW YORK—Thrifty Car Rental, a subsidiary of Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group Inc., said Thursday it plans to expand its relationship with Expedia Inc.
Thrifty Car Rental will join the Expedia website's Preferred Car Rental Program and Expedia.ca, where customers can receive Thrifty's rates on car rentals.
Dollar Thrifty shares fell 5 cents to $3.15 in afternoon trading. Expedia share rose 54 cents, or 2.8 percent, to $19.57.
