COLUMBIA, S.C.—Electric and natural gas utility Scana Corp. on Friday reaffirmed its outlook for 2008 earnings per share of $2.90 to $3.05.
The forecast assumes normal weather in the companys electric and natural gas service areas for the rest of the year and excludes any accounting changes or investment gains or losses.
On average, analysts surveyed by Thomson Financial predict full-year profit of $2.94 per share.
Scana, which operates South Carolina Electric & Gas and other utilities, said it expects an average annual earnings growth rate of 4 percent to 6 percent over the next three to five years.![]()
