FORT WORTH, Texas—RadioShack Corp. said Wednesday it will change product displays at most of its 4,000 stores before the holiday shopping season.

The electronics retailer plans to redo its interactive wireless and GPS displays to make it easier for customers to compare competing products against each other.

Stores not included in the initial redesign phase are expected to be reorganized early next year, RadioShack said.

Aside from the redesign, 14 stores will be reworked to include changes to signage, store design and color schemes.
