Alliance Data lands contract with AnnTaylor Stores

DALLAS—Alliance Data Systems Corp., a marketing and transaction services company, said Thursday it received a contract from women's clothing chain AnnTaylor Stores Corp. to launch a new co-brand credit card program and to continue providing private-label credit card services.

Financial terms of the contract were not disclosed.

Alliance will provide account acquisition and activation, receivables funding, card authorization and issuance and other services.

The program includes a co-branded MasterCard credit card and a points-based rewards program for cardholders. Alliance Data will launch four new card designs for AnnTaylor, including private-label and co-brand cards for both the company's AnnTaylor and AnnTaylor Loft brands.

Shares of AnnTaylor lost 26 cents to $21.84 in midday trading, as Alliance shares fell $1.17 to $62.83.
