WASHINGTON—General Dynamics Corp.'s Electric Boat received a nearly $25 million contract from the Navy to provide non-nuclear maintenance and repair support at a Naval Submarine Base, the Pentagon said late Monday.

Work will be performed in New London, Conn. and is expected to be completely by September 2010.

Shares of the Falls Church, Va.-based company added 5 cents to $66 in after-hours trading, after falling 64 cents in the regular session to close at $65.96.
