RANCHO CORDOVA, Calif.—Biotechnology company ThermoGenesis Corp. said Thursday it named a longtime health care executive to its board.

Craig W. Moore is a former CEO of Everest Healthcare Services Corp., which collected stem cells for hospitals, and held executive jobs at American Hospital Supply, according to ThermoGenesis. He is a director of dialysis products maker Nxstage Medical Inc.

Moore's appointment brings the ThermoGenesis board to six members. The company supplies products for processing and storing adult stem cells.

ThermoGenesis makes blood-processing systems used in making and preserving stem cells.
