British Airways canceled four of six flights between Boston and London yesterday as the cabin crew strike continued into its second day.

Two inbound freight flights were scrapped Monday. Half of today’s six flights have been canceled, and two a day have been canceled through June 9, pending resolution of the strike.

The airline grounded almost half its flights out of Heathrow Airport in London yesterday after cabin crews walked out to protest cost-cutting plans.

Two more five-day walkouts, beginning May 30 and June 5, are planned if the dispute is not resolved.

The airline urged customers to check the website ba.com for updated information.
