PAWTUCKET, R.I.—Hasbro will work with game developer Jagex Ltd. to create an online multiplayer Transformers video game, the toy maker said Monday.
The game is set to be launched in 2012 in North America, Latin America, Europe, New Zealand and Australia.
Hasbro's other Transformers video games include Transformers: War for Cybertron, out now, and Transformers: Dark of the Moon which will come out in June to coincide with the feature film, both by Activision.
Hasbro shares fell 4 cents to $46.82 during morning trading.
