Optaros Inc., a Boston company that provides e-commerce services to retailers, said that Robert Willms has been appointed president and chief executive.
Founder and former chief executive Bob Gett will remain on the Optaros board as chairman, the company said in a press release. Willms’s resume includes senior positions at a digital production services firm called digitalArbor, the marketing firm Digitas, and the consultant Bain & Co., Optaros said.
Optaros seeks to help brands and retailers deliver online experiences that increase their sales. Clients include Macy’s, Rue La La, and Joss & Main.
