GROTON, Conn.—General Dynamics Corp. said Tuesday that its Electric Boat subsidiary won an $89.9 million modification of a Navy contract to develop new submarine technologies.
The company said Electric Boat will research submarine technology including manufacturing, maintenance, controls and performance.
The contract was awarded last November and could be worth $711.4 million over five years if all options are picked up.
General Dynamics shares fell 37 cents to close at $65.26.![]()
