TOKYO—Toyota says it is resuming production at its Thai plant Nov. 21, where output had been disrupted by a supply shortage caused by flooding.

Production there had stopped from Oct. 10 because of the severe floods.

Toyota says its North American production, which were scaled back from Oct. 29, were expected to be back to mostly normal by next week.

Toyota said this week that, as of Nov. 12, the Thai floods cost 150,000 vehicles in lost production for Japan's top automaker -- nearly 90,000 of that in Thailand, and 40,000 in Japan.
