ERIE, Pa.—General Electric Co.'s transportation unit said on Wednesday that it plans to buy transportation software provider RMI from The Carlyle Group.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed. It is expected to close early next year.
RMI has annual revenue of about $45 million. It makes transportation management software for customers including railroads, rail shippers and railcar leasing companies.![]()
